Schedule: 
Saturday, October 11, 2008 
6:30 am-8:30 am: Packet pick-up 
8:45 am: Pre-race meeting at NorthWest Parking Lot 
9:00 am: Race start (see race start info below) 
12:00 am: Awards presentation 


Race Start:
Pre-race meeting at 8:45 am at run start. Instructions and updates will be announced.

It is the responsibility of the athlete to know and follow the proper course.

This event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. All USAT rules apply. For a complete listing of rules, go to USAT's Rule Book.

Body marking is located at packet pickup.

The transition area is for race participants only - no spectators allowed.


Awards 
Individual: 
Overall male/female finishers 
Top 5 in Men’s age groups 
Top 3 Women’s age groups 
Top 3 Clydesdale (Men 200lbs and above) 
Top 3 Athena (Women 150lbs and above) 
Top 3 Male and Female Aquabike.

 
Relay Teams: 
Awards to top 2 teams in each relay division: Male, Female, Coed (may be 2 or 3 person team) 


Race Morning 
Plan to arrive around 7:00 A.M. This will allow you plenty of time to get everything set up. There will be a pre-race meeting at 7:45 A.M. Final instructions will be given at this time.


Clydesdale/Athena Information 
Participants who registered as Clydesdales or Athenas will be asked to weigh in on race day. Entrants in this division are not eligible for age group awards. Note: you are not required to enter as a Clydesdale or Athena just because you meet the weight requirements. (200 lbs. for men; 150 lbs. for women) 


LakeLand College
The transition area is located at the North West Parking lot. The run course is out and back. Maps are enclosed of the transition area, run course and bike course.


Post Race Party 
The post race food and the awards presentation will be held next to the pavilion. 


Transition Area 
The transition area is located at the North West Parking lot. Large signs will direct the participants.


Parking 
Parking is in a designated area before you enter the race site. There is no parking in any other area or along the road. 


Misc. Information 
Relay team members may begin the next leg after they have been passed the race number by preceding team mate. Relays should hand off at the entrance or exit of transition area.

Lost and found will be located at Field House. 


Refund Policy 
We will be unable to refund your entry fee after you have registered for the race. In the event you will not be able to participate, please contact us about a race transfer.
